Best For You

The Apart Of Me app is Best For You’s app of the month for June 2023.

A graphic introducing the app of the month: Apart Of Me. There’s an image of a phone with lines coming out of it to form an arrow shape. There’s also the Apart Of Me logo: a character with deer antlers – they don’t have a clear gender and the illustration style is soft.
About Apart Of Me
The Apart Of Me app is a game designed to help young people who have lost a loved one.
Apart Of Me is set on a beautiful, peaceful island where you can explore your surroundings, get to know characters, and complete quests. Some of the quests involve doing things in the ‘real world’.
You can also learn new ways of relaxing through interactive elements in the game. In Apart Of Me, you can read or listen to real stories of other people’s experiences to help you feel less alone. The game helps you to discover your own strength and wisdom and learn to accept your feelings.
.=Two screenshots from the Apart Of Me app. The first shows the character talking to the guide outside, in a grassy area. The guide is saying ‘You are very brave getting through that storm all on your own in that rickety airship.’ The second screenshot shows the character’s view of a cave. The guide is saying ‘Welcome to the cave. This place belongs to you now. As you discover stories of loss and love on your journey, you can listen to them here’.

About the Best For You app library

There are thousands of apps that claim to boost wellbeing, but it can be difficult to know which ones you can trust with your mental health and wellbeing.

Best For You worked with ORCHA (the Organisation for the Review of Care and Health Apps) to create the Best For you app library. Every app in the library has been tested to make sure the information it contains is accurate – and that the app is safe and trustworthy too.

You can search the library for specific apps to see if they’ve been reviewed. You can also search by condition (for example, depression) or symptom (for example, feeling anxious) – and you can search for apps to support with specific things, for example, meditation or mindfulness. The library also has lists of top-rated apps for various topics. Find previous apps of the month on the Best For You website.

You can filter the apps shown, for example, to only show apps that will work on your device or to only show apps that are totally free.

Visit the Best For You app library and start your journey to finding apps to support your wellbeing.
