Booked is a fiction book written in verse (written like poetry). It’s about a boy called Nick who’s clever and loves football. After Nick’s mum leaves, other things start going wrong in his life. Alongside his parents’ divorce, he has to figure out how to cope with bullying, deal with his dad’s expectations, and impress the girl he loves.
