A Monster Calls is a story about a teenager called Conor who’s had the same dream every night since they found out his mother was ill. One night, he wakes up to find a visitor at his window. It’s an ancient force of nature that wants the truth from Conor. A Monster Calls is based on an idea from an author called Siobhan Dowd, who died before she could write the book. It’s about grief, healing, and the courage it takes to survive.
