Hope

by Rhian Ivory

Hope is a story about a young woman in the summer between high school and sixth form. She doesn’t get into drama college (and all of her friends do), so she’s dealing with anger, grief for her father, and the sense that her own body is against her. She meets a boy on a ferry, and his texts give her someone to talk to – but the book isn’t about a boy fixing everything, it’s about trying new things and having the courage to ask for help.
