Molehill Mountain
The Molehill Mountain app is designed to help autistic people aged 16 and over understand and manage anxiety.

What can you do in the Molehill Mountain app?
In the Molehill Mountain app you can check in and log how anxious you’ve been. You can enter the three main things you’re worried about – the app has some suggestions, and you can identify whether you’re anxious because of a sensory issue, general anxiety, social anxiety, or a specific fear. You also track what you did. There are then sections where you can write about things that happened and how you thought and felt in response. You can choose to share your check-in with a contact you’ve put into the app, if you want to. Over time, you can look at your stats to see how your moods and worries have changed.
There’s a tool called the worry mountain, which lets you ‘lock away’ your worries. You can then choose when you want to take them out and think about them.
The Molehill Mountain app also has a breathing exercise.
You unlock the rest of the app’s tool and exercises one at a time, so the app doesn’t feel overwhelming.
How does the Molehill Mountain app help?
Molehill Mountain uses techniques from cognitive behavioural therapy that have been adapted to better fit the needs of autistic people.
